The Future of Prenatal Diagnosis - a summary

Within a few years new methods of prenatal diagnosis will be developed, enabling the pregnant woman to obtain a lot of information about the fetus early on in the course of pregnancy. Euthanasia - legalizing killing on request?
The Council's entire report on euthanasia is now available in english. Untill now only section 2, holding the Council's different arguments against the legalization of euthanasia, has been available. Now the sections 1 and 3 is also available in english. Section 1 is a short definition of the term 'euthanasia'. Section 3 contains background knowledge about the debate as a whole, not least about common arguments in favour of euthanasia, which are obviously not amplified in section 2. |

| Ethical Forum for Young People |
| The Danish Council of Ethics has organized a teaching and democracy project for young people from 9th and 10th grade classes in Denmark. The project was about stem cells and ethics.
